Maintenance & Care

Finish: Lacquer

Daily Cleaning

For daily cleaning, use a clean, dry cloth, ideally a cotton cloth.
Avoid scouring pads or synthetic cloths as these may cause scratches.

To remove dirt, use a damp cotton cloth firmly wrung in
clean water or mild soapy water. Wipe the surface dry afterwards.

Avoid harsh, abrasive or solvent-based cleaning agents,
as these may damage the surface.

If the lacquer is damaged, avoid wet cleaning in that area,
as moisture can penetrate the wood.

Repairing the Surface

A lacquered surface cannot be sanded and re-treated
at home. Scratches and marks should be repaired by a professional
furniture restorer. If in doubt, contact us.
