Pine

Pine is a natural material that can be replanted and renewed through responsible forest management. Since wood plays a major role in our products, we place great emphasis on sourcing it from responsibly managed forests. The pine we use comes from FSC®-certified forests in Europe and is of Bosnian origin. To minimize transport, the wood is processed in workshops located close to the source, typically within a maximum distance of 100 km. 

We have introduced pine to our collection to offer an alternative to oak. Pine grows faster than oak and has a lighter appearance with more visible knots, giving it a distinctive and characterful expression. 

Pine is a lightweight and versatile softwood that is easy to work with and allows for precise craftsmanship. It is cut, planed and assembled using traditional woodworking techniques that highlight the natural beauty of the material. 

Over time, pine develops a warm patina. The colour changes from a pale tone to a deeper, golden hue with soft orange undertones, reflecting the life of the wood and its natural ageing process.
