A durable stool crafted from recycled beverage cartons
Remake Stool is made from recycled beverage cartons in a special process that allows for a mix of materials, such as paper, plastic and aluminium, which can be recycled again and again. The material is a low-carbon, fully circular and excellent alternative to traditional furniture materials and thus a sustainable choice.
”It was interesting to work with a brand new type of material, which is completely directionless. The fact that the material has the same expression in large surfaces and edges lends the stool an almost monolithic expression. Just like wood, the material makes each stool unique, because it has a varied appearance from batch to batch.”

Recirculation of 7,000,000 kg of Nordic packaging waste
The Remake Stool is produced using Pack Wall Design Board from Recoma, a fully circular material made from recycled beverage cartons. This unique process allows paper, plastic, and aluminum to be repurposed again and again, reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact.
Every year, this material helps recirculate 7,000,000 kg of Nordic packaging waste that would otherwise be incinerated, preventing nearly 5,000 tons of CO2 emissions. The production process requires no additives or chemicals—just energy and raw materials sourced from discarded cartons—offering a sustainable alternative to traditional furniture materials.
By choosing the Remake Stool, you support not only innovative craftsmanship but also a responsible approach to resource use. Each stool represents a shift toward a circular economy, proving that waste can become a valuable resource in the creation of lasting, high-quality design
