Beech

Beech is a natural material that can be replanted and renewed through responsible forest management. As wood is a key component of our products, we prioritise sourcing it from responsibly managed forests. The beech we use comes from European forests. We are committed to supporting responsible forestry. Most of our beech is sourced from FSC®-certified European forests, with only a few exceptions.

Beech is used in selected designs where its qualities are best expressed. It is a durable hardwood known for its strength, stability and fine, even grain, making it well suited for detailed craftsmanship and precise shaping.

We mainly work with solid beech, which provides smooth surfaces and clean edges that highlight the wood’s subtle texture and light, delicate tone with a soft, almost pale character. Beech is well suited for both turning and bending, making it ideal for crafted, curved details.

Over time, beech matures gently, its colour gaining a slightly deeper tone, while maintaining its natural lightness and uniform appearance.
